New York: What's in store for the global economy next year? CNN's Charles Hodson took a ride with financial analyst Tom Hougaard to discuss the bumpy road ahead.
Charles Hodson: What about 2009?
Tom Hougaard: Equity is dead, British Banks are never going to recover to the same highs..maybe they will in this lifetime but not until I am old. If we look at 2010 then we're going to be in an inflationary holocaust, because of the government's huge spending, they've been telling us since 10 years please save, now they're asking us to spend but it doesn't work that way, we've got a collective mentality.
Charles Hodson: What about other commodities?
Tom Hougaard:Food stuff has a huge potential, but you and I are like a tiger in the Savannah who has lot of weak and dry stuff to feed on but I am going to sit back for quite sometime and not prey. Investors have to understand that if they are spending they have to be prepared for anything.
