The awards honour the most stylish icons of the country in various fields, but with our cricketers being the Twenty20 champions it only seemed fair to use the occasion of the style awards press conference in the capital to give out style awards to team India.
Correspondent Reshil Charles caught up with some celebrities present in the press conference and asked them which cricketer would bag the most stylish cricketer award.
TV host, Semi Girebaal said, “Dhoni of course, even in the most awkward of situations he always has a certain element of style. Even if he took his shirt off when the team won, he was so comfortable with it. All the men who take off their shirts suck in their stomach but he was so comfortable.”
So should the most stylish award go to him as well?
“I think that he should get the most stylish body award as well because everything is in alignment in his body,” Girebaal said.
Ad filmmaker, Prahlad Kakkar said, “Yuvraj should get the award. He broke the back, he broke the mould, he broke somebody’s heart and he probably got laid frantically.”
As for designer, Manish Malhotra, he said, “I am sorry but I am not well versed with the team so I do not know half their names.”
So even if everyone are not built for the sport the jury should actually present the most stylish comeback award to the boys.
