New Delhi: Kalavati Bandurkar, who became the face of the Vidarbha's agrarian crisis after Rahul Gandhi mentioned her name in the Lok Sabha three years back, has slammed the cong-led Maharashtra government.

Kalavati has complained that the government hasn't compensated over 4000 farmers for their land. She says that there will be no farmer suicides if the government gives good compensation for farm produce.

Kalavati says that she is thankful to Rahul Gandhi, she is satisfied and her children are very happy but like her there are 4000 widows in Vidarbha, she requested the government to help them all.

"If the govt. gives good price to agricultural products then there will be no farmer Suicides," says Kalavati.

Rahul Gandhi stayed in Kalavati's house in May 2008 where she lived with her nine children.
