Shilpa was one of the housemates facing public vote but it was singer Jo-o Meara and Cleo who had to pack their bags.
The Bollywood belle, it seems, is there to stay until the end.
Says Ashila, "The result wasn't surprising. I was expecting Jo to be evicted and now Shilpa has a strong chance to win."
The public will vote again this weekend for the final winner amongst the six remaining housemates.
So Shilpa Shetty remains in the house for a couple of days more and she does seem to be the favourite to win. However, her housemate Jermaine, also has a few supporters and could give her a fight.
And as the series near its end, bookies will surely be a busy lot.
