London: India's Rohan Bopanna and his Chinese partner Jie Zhang crashed out of the mixed doubles after they lost their quarter-final match in Wimbledon on Thursday.

Bopanna and Zheng, who are seeded 10th, went down 2-6, 5-7 to the second seeded American pair of Mike Bryan and Lisa Raymond. Bopanna and Zheng could convert only 67 percent of the break points compared to 83 of the American duo.

The Indo-Chinese pair, however, were better when it came to service, hitting nine aces while Bryan and Lisa could hit only two. Bopanna and Zhang also committed just two double faults while Lisa and Bryan made three.
