New Delhi: Almost immediately after the Lok Sabha Elections 2009 results were declared, the Congress began its Rahul chant. Many Congressmen said Rahul Gandhi should be prime minister. Others insisted, he be made a minister. In this election Rahul is being credited with reviving the Congress in Uttar Pradesh and bringing youth power to the party.

"The youth inspired by leadership of Rahul Gandhi have voted for us in huge numbers," said Prime Minister Manmohan Singh.

All eyes are on the number of young faces in Manmohan Singh's Cabinet. Rahul's team, Jitin Prasada, Sachin Pilot, Ashok Tanwar and Jitendra Singh have all clicked and sources say that Rahul wants them to be in the Cabinet.

There is little doubt that Rahul's might has gone up, though Rahul was seated on the last row, as far as the party is concerned, he is the leading from the front.

"We just want to follow him, whether he is an MP, a Minister or in the Party," said Congress MP Sachin Pilot.

While Rahul is likely to say 'no' to being a Minister, his stamp on the government and party running is bound to be there.
