A woman, along with three persons, was arrested on Saturday for allegedly killing her younger brother in Muradnagar area of Ghaziabad district. 45-year-old Manoj Choudhary, a property dealer, was shot dead by three persons in Jalalabad area of the district on August 11.
According to police, Choudhary's elder sister Shakuntla had hired three persons-- Amit, Chanderveer and Farman, and had paid them Rs 1.5 lakh for killing him. Senior Superintendent of Police Dharmender Singh told reporters here that there was a property dispute between Shukuntla and Choudhary's families.
"During interrogation, Shukantla confessed that she got her younger brother killed by the three contract killers," another senior police officer said. Police have also recovered a car and a pistol used in the crime, he said.
