Woman knifed to death by paramour

Two women were murdered in separate incidents since Tuesday.

In Madhapur, Bharatamma (32) was attacked with a kitchen knife and later strangled by a person, Ravi. She was staying with Ravi after the death of her husband. Ravi used to come home drunk and quarrel with her. Yesterday, the duo had a quarrel and in a fit of rage, Ravi attacked her with a knife and later strangled her. As she fell unconscious, Ravi left the house. Neighbours shifted her to a hospital, where she died today.  Meanwhile, the 40-year old woman’s body was found near Shamshabad. She could not be identified as her face was disfigured by pouring acid.
