The forthcoming International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) awards held a press conference at their new destination for the awards this year - Macau. The brand ambassador of the IIFA awards Amitabh Bachchan and got talking about IIFA'S new destination and about working with Sir Ben Kingsley.

CNN-IBN: To begin with, why has Macau been chosen as the new destination?

Amitabh Bachchan: I think IIFA has always endeavoured to bring it to some different destination. We have been in the West long enough so we thought we should have in in the far east as well. We have done Singapore, Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur and Macau was an interesting destination, not many have been here. This is my first time here and I love it here.

CNN-IBN: Every year there is a film that is premiered or a first look. So is it true that we will we seeing the first look of Ravana here?

Amitabh Bachchan: We are still debating over which film it should be. Because of the strike that is going on between the producers and multiplex owners. So when we know we will let you know.

CNN-IBN: Talking about the strike, we can easily call it the biggest crisis the Indian film industry has faced till now. What would you say about it?

Amitabh Bachchan: I hope this matter is resolved soon and everyone can watch movies. But we have single screens and if the producers and the multiplex owners do not come to an agreement then they will have the opportunity, rather the alternative, to release them in single screens. Yes, it should be resolved fast. It's not good for two members of the family to be fighting.

CNN-IBN: You spoke about the collaboration of Indian film industry and Hollywood. You have worked with Sir Ben Kingsley recently, so how was it working with him ?

Amitabh Bachchan: It was a wonderful experience. He is of course Sir Ben Kingsley. He has won the Oscar for Best Actor for Gandhi. He is a thorough proffesional, very committed to his craft, very co-operative, most friendly and understands the medium. He is just like one of us, so it was a great pleasure and a great joy to work with him.

CNN-IBN: Now you play the genie in Alladin, so if you had the opportunity to wish for three things what would they be?

Amitabh Bachchan: Go and see Alladin, go and see Alladin , go and see Alladin.
