New Delhi: Shah Jahan’s monument of love has made it to the list of New Seven Wonders of the world.

Taj Mahal outshined monuments like the Acropolis, Eiffel tower and the Statue of Liberty, which failed to make it to the first list of The New Seven Wonders Foundation—a privately funded organization that short-listed 21 landmarks from across the globe.

The final list is yet to be announced by the foundation and it will be based on the number of votes cast for each monument.

Everyone has set eyes on India’s 17th century marvel, whether it will finally be declared one of the seven wonders or not

You can cast your vote for the Taj and ensure that it finds its place. Voting for the final list of the New Seven Wonders will be on till July 7.

Monuments getting the maximum number of votes will be declared as the New Seven Wonders of the World. Voters can log on to the website new7wonders.com and cast votes.

Voters can even call the New Seven Wonder Foundation on 0044 870 062 3748.
