New Delhi: A day after he was stabbed outside a Chandigarh court, the main accused in the Ruchika's molestation case, former DGP SPS Rathore said he will not press charges against his attacker.
Twenty-nine -year old Utsav Sharma from Varanasi had lunged at Rathore and stabbed him in the face three times as he was coming out of the court on Monday.
Sharma is a student of film production in Ahmedabad and has been staying in Panchkula for the last one month.
Rathore was injured and rushed to hospital but returned to court later. The police had lodged an FIR against Sharma.
Rathore was at the court on Monday for an in-camera trial.
