Location: In the south-east region of the Olympic Green, not far from Chaoyang Park.

Description: Constructed in 1959, this stadium has already played host to the Asian Games and University Games. It has been given a make over for the Games and can accommadate some 62,000 fans.

Competition dates: August 12-21 - Men's and women's matches including the women's final.
