New Delhi: Cities across the world rang in the New Year on a musical note. Serenaded by the likes of Nelly Furtado, Black Eyed Peas and Kylie Minogue, 2007 made a grand musical entry at a few lucky metros across the world.

Aussie singer Kylie reigned at London's Wembley stadium with her glittering Showgirl Homecoming Tour which was apparently sold out within an hour of tickets going on sale.

Other major artists treated audience to free concerts in a transcontinental gig, Five Cities One Party, organised by a telecom giant.

British girl band Sugababes 'pushed' the buttons in Berlin with their 'freaky' gig on New Year's eve and were accompanied by the American Scissor Sisters dancing into the New Year.

Atomic Kitten got together for the first time since their split in 2004 and declared a Ladies night in Hong Kong as they belted out their hit numbers for crowds with state-of-the-art fireworks.

And Rio De Jeneiro got a taste of the Black Eyed Peas as the American hip hop group and their Fergilicious addition rocked the bikini-clad audience at the beach town.

So, New Year's eve was one big live concert for more than a million music lovers across the world.
