New Delhi: France's civil servants have joined the strike by transit workers. The French doctor who attended to Princess Diana after her car crash says she ripped out her drip. Beijing has come up with cutting edge architectural designs ahead of the 2008 Olympics.

French Civil Servants Go On Strike

France's civil servants have joined the strike by transit workers. From hospital employees to tax collectors and customs officials, all are standing together to oppose government plans to reform a special category of pensions.

The plan would also require many of them to retire early. The strike is costing the government 300 million euros every day.

Doc who attended to Diana speaks up

The French doctor who attended to Princess Diana after her car crash has revealed that she was agitated after the accident. He says she ripped out her drip, shouting incoherently, and saying something in English. He says she was sedated to keep her quiet.

British doctors say that Diana could have been saved had she been taken to hospital on time.

Beijing Architecture

Beijing has come up with cutting edge architectural designs ahead of the 2008 Olympics.

The designs range from a stadium shaped like a bird's nest to the twisted donut style which will mark out national broadcaster CCTV. All have been created by overseas designers.
