Mumbai: Scripts are the backbone of a good film, a reason why a no frills, low on star quotient, small budget film like Khosla Ka Ghosla and Welcome to Sajjanpur, managed to make a mark at the box office and garner critical praise as well.

But good scriptwriters are tough to find or so our Bollywood filmmakers often lament. But that doesn't stop them from having their favourites even if, from amongst the limited few.

"Apart from my good friend Jaideep Sahni, the dialogue writer of Oye lucky lucky oyehas managed to capture the ambience and essence of Delhi so well," says Kabir Khan.

"Vikramaditya who has written Paanch and Dev D, then that guy who wrote the dialogues for Oye Lucky Lucky Oye he should get an award,” says Filmmaker, Anurag Kashyap.

"I'll have to say me, who else can write Om Shanti Om,” says Farah Khan.

With such talent around we guess it's time to tell our writers to simply write on.
