New Delhi: He made many hearts go aflutter when he strummed his guitar and serenaded yesteryear bombshell Zeenat Aman in the romantic number Chura Liya Hai from the 1973 blockbuster Yaadon Ki Baarat .
But that was perhaps all actor Vijay Arora would be best remembered for.
Arora died in Mumbai on Friday after succumbing to an intestinal ailment.
The 62-year-old actor had acted in over 50 films. He was last seen in the 2005 release Indian Babu
Though he could never make it to the A-list of actors, he remained etched in public memory for his memorable roles in Yaadon ki Baraat and as Meghnad in the Ramanand Sagar production of Ramayana.
A 1971 graduate of the Film and Television Institute of India, Arora featured in many television serials as well and was last seen on the small screen in two serials Lakeerein and Talaash.
Arora is survived by wife and a son.
