BHUBANESWAR: A 20-year-old was found dead near Mancheswar railway tracks in the wee hours of Tuesday morning. The youth, identified as Dibyajyoti Pradhan, belongs to Angul. He reportedly fell off a train.
The news of the accident was first reported to his brother by a fellow passenger who dialled him from Dibyajyoti’s cellphone. Then the PCR van reached the spot and informed the Mancheswar GRP station. The police officials suspect that he might have fallen off the Puri-Rourkela Intercity that runs early morning. However, they have not ruled out foul play. “The boy has sustained head injuries,” informed Mancheswar GRP ASI BN Dhalasamnta.
