New Yorker police the cops who break laws

New Delhi: A New York citizen keeps a record of traffic cops who break the law and then posts the videos on you-tube, with some colorful commentary.

It is a hi-fi social service, or rather a sci-fi social service with which ‘Jimmy Justice’ polices the police officials.

"People have said that I should just make videos of the official vehicles of police officers that are parked improperly and just send that video to the authorities. They say I should not add any color commentary but if I make videos of parked cars, nobody would watch it,” says Jimmy.

Meanwhile, Jimmy's mission has received great response from New Yorkers.

A New Yorker, Edwin Jimenez says, “The law should be applied evenly across the board to everyone.”

“That's what life is…it's about being careful. It's about taking care of yourself, about making sure that no one takes advantage of you. So I think it's great,” says Juliet.

Double-parking, parking in front of fire hydrants, blocking bus stops, wrong turns - Jimmy Justice catches them all. The New York police officials could love him or even hate him, but they just can't ignore him.
