'Ziddi' stars Prajwal, Aindrita Ray in the lead roles

Producers Amarchand Jain and Vijaya Surana are now caught up in a remake of Malayalam film 'Puthiya Mukham'(2009) starred Prithviraj Sukumaran and Priyamani in the lead roles is directed by Diphan. Kannada version titled 'Ziddi', stars Prajwal, Aindrita Ray, Tilak, Aishwarya Nag will play play the prominent roles.

"There is 25 percent change to the original film to suit the nativity of Kannada films" says director Ananth Raju. The film shooting is in progress at SJBIT Global campus near Kengeri and then it will move further to Channapatna, Arasikere and Melukote. Ananth wants to complete the film by October, 2012.

Actress Aindrita Ray is paired with Prajwal Devaraj for the third time. She started her career from 'Meravanige' and 'Nannavanu'. "I have liked the script immensely" says Aindrita.

'Ziddi' is a remake of Malayalam film 'Puthiya Mukham. It stars Prajwal, Aindrita and Aishwarya in the lead roles.

The topnotch Yogaraj Bhat has impressed Prajwal by writing a song in Kannada. "This is an action love story" says Prajwal Devaraj.

"There is lot of variation and not the usual stuff" says Tilak.

Aishwarya Nag, Bimbika, Ashok, Srinivasamurthy, Sharat Lohitashva, Shanker Ashwath, Muni, Suchindra Prasad, RG Vijayasarathy, Yathiraj, Jayalakshmi are also in the cast.
