Zimbabwe left-arm spinner Ray Price has been overlooked for the ODIs and T20s on their tour of the West Indies, while being asked to join the Test squad after the limited-overs leg of the tour.
Zimbabwe are scheduled to play three ODIs, two Twenty20 internationals and two Tests on their first tour of the Caribbean in 13 years. Since playing India in 2005, this will also be Zimbabwe's first two-Test series. Craig Ervine, Chamu Chibhabha, Tino Mutombodzi and Natsai M'shangwe will return after the limited-overs series, to be replaced by Sean Williams, Timycen Maruma, Ray Price and Graeme Cremer for the Test series.
Also left-arm seamer Brian Vitori was dropped for the complete tour, while batsman Sean Williams was called up for Tests but couldn't find a place in the limited-overs squad. Right-arm seamer Tendai Chatara was the new face in both the limited-overs and Test squads, having taken 13 wickets in three first-class matches this season.
