New Delhi: A prison officer in Zimbabwe has used a hidden camera to film how he and his colleagues were forced to vote for Robert Mugabe in last month's presidential elections.
Shepherd Yuda, the prison officer, was given a secret camera by a British newspaper and in his 10-minute film he reports ballot tampering.
The video shows a senior official and member of Mugabe's party handing out postal ballots to Yuda and other prison workers and watching as they mark them.
UNFAIR ELECTIONS? The camera shows a meeting at which prison workers are told to vote for Mugabe.
Other scenes in his film show prison workers discussing an abduction threat from militant Mugabe supporters.
It also shows a meeting at which prison workers are told to vote for Mugabe. After the film was posted on the website of The Guardian, Yuda has fled Zimbabwe on Friday to an undisclosed location.
International observers have however claimed that the June 27 runoff was not free and fair.
