Maryan: Dhanush, AR Rahaman and Bharatbala at the music launch

Tamil drama film 'Maryan' directed by Bharatbala is a unique story of an oil worker who is kidnapped by the mercenaries. The film features Dhanush and Parvati Menon in lead roles.

The film is inspired from a real life incident, the story deals with the survival of three Indian oil workers who were kidnapped from India and were forced to work by the Sudan mercenaries.
