
Hyderabad: Latest trends in the counting of votes in the crucial Andhra Pradesh by-polls reveal Jagan Mohan Reddy's party, the YSR Congress, leading in 13 out of 18 seats. The YSR Congress is also reportedly leading in the Lok Sabha seat of Nellore.
The Congress, meanwhile, is leading in 3 seats - Narsapuram, Narsanapet and Ramachandrapuram. The Telangana Rashtra Samiti (TRS) is said to be leading in Parkal, with the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) leading in another seat.
YSR Congress spokesperson Ambati Rambabu said the Congress must resign and go for mid-term polls. "The Congress party is not getting even one seat. The Congress should resign and go for mid term polls."
