New Delhi: The police on Tuesday questioned some friends of the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) player Luke Pomersbach in the molestation case involving the cricketer. The police also questioned RCB Manager Avinash Vaidya in connection with the case.
The police will record the statement of Miraj, the alleged victim's fiance's friend, who was reportedly present in the room when the assault took place.
The police questioned the victim's fiance and another of his friends, Moiz, on Monday. The former reportedly corroborated the victim's version of events that Luke entered their room and punched him three to four times.
Earlier, the police had claimed that Luke had confessed to his crime in the case. However, the player's lawyers refuted the claims saying no admission had been made by their client....
