1999 BMW case: SC decision on RK Anand today New Delhi: The Supreme Court decision on senior advocate RK Anand in the 1999 BMW hit-and-run case is expected on Monday.

Anand was found guilty of contempt of court charges last week for trying to influence Sunil Kulkarni, a key witness in the case.

The court had asked him to either pay Rs 20 lakhs to the Delhi Legal Aid Services or provide free legal service to poor people.

The court could impose a higher punishment of six month imprisonment on Anand. He was barred from practising law. ...more
