Chennai: 'Nadigram Diary', a dubbed Tamil version of Malayalam movie 'Climax', based on the controversial life of late actress Silk Smitha, is not dirty, director Anil asserted and added that it is as an emotional story.
"People have already started to compare the film with several imaginary stories, including the Hindi film 'The Dirty Picture', but it's not like that. It's a true, emotional story of the rise and fall of an actress. The story is closer to personal life of Silk Smitha, and it is not dirty," Anil told IANS.
Anthony Eastman, who introduced Silk to the Malayalam film industry, has written the script for the film.
"Based on real experiences that he shared with the actress, he has penned the story with lot of detailing and, therefore, it is different from other versions," Anil added....
