Rani Mukerji turns 35: 10 cool roles we wish she had done

Although Rani Mukerji never really quit films, but over the years the bong beauty’s outing at the Box Office has become less. After enjoying stupendous success in the early 2000s, Mukerji’s has now become selective about the films she signs on. Here is our take on some of the films that we thought should have had Mukerji playing one of the characters. People sat up and noticed a fabulous actress called Richa Chadda in Anurag Kashyap's 'Gangs Of Wasseypur'. Chadda's character, Nagma Khatoon is introduced as a young bride in the first part of the film and her character is shown growing old and eventually playing the mother to Nawazuddin%u2019s character. Rani would have done equal justice to Nagma Khatoon%u2019s character and showcased a character who goes character grows with the narrative of the film. While Vidya Balan is actress par excellence, we think Rani Mukerji as Vidya Bagchi in 'Kahaani' would have been perfect. The gritty thriller would have had Rani walking around on the streets of Kolkata, looking for her missing husband. And the last shot where Balan dresses up in red bordered white saree? Imagine Rani in it, would have been perfect, no?
