Ramdev alleges witch hunt by UPA government New Delhi: Yoga Guru Ramdev has accused the UPA government of witch hunt after it was announced that his trust Patanjali Yogpeeth's charitable status will be withdrawn. Ramdev claimed that he is being targetted because of his anti-corruption movement against the UPA.

"Just because we speak against corruption and blackmoney, the Congress puts dirty allegations on us. We have put all our financial details regarding our trusts on our website. Why doesn't the Congress do the same," asked Ramdev.

The Income Tax department found that while the income of the trust was over Rs 72 crore, it had claimed its income is nil.

The bank transactions of the yoga guru's trust are also under scrutiny and the source of this money which came from Dubai is under probe too....more
