Bollywood gives thumbs up to CWG opener

The Commonwealth Games opening ceremony was stunning, sensational and spectacular - this is the verdict of the Indian film fraternity.

Amitabh Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan, Shekhar Kapur, Diya Mirza, Riteish Deshmukh and others have taken to social networking sites to cheer India for bringing alive a potpourri of Indian culture at the ceremony.

Some like Kunal Kohli, Rahul Bose and Riteish pointed out the huge applause Indians gave to welcome the Pakistan contingent. They feel it's a mark of maturity for both countries.
