New Delhi: Sources have told CNN-IBN that the Prime Minister's Office has asked the Home Ministry on what action can be taken on the VK Shunglu Committee report concerning Lt Governor Tejinder Khanna and the Delhi government's role.
The Shunglu report had indicted Delhi Lt Governor Tejinder Khanna, Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit and sacked Organising Committee Chairman Suresh Kalmadi for the Commonwealth Games mess and the irregularities.
The Shunglu Committee report inquiring into the Commonwealth Games corruption cases had blamed Suresh Kalmadi for causing intentional delays in purchase of equipments.
The Shunglu Panel in its second report on irregularities in Commonwealth games had indicted the Delhi Lt Governor Tejinder Khanna for neglect and the developer of the Games Village EMAAR MGF for its tardy approach....
