Mohali: The police on Thursday recovered Rs one crore in cash and other valuables from the residence of Fiza Mohammed alias Anuradha Bali, who was found dead in her Chandigarh home on Monday.
This comes two days after the autopsy report of the former wife of former deputy chief minister of Haryana, Chander Mohan Bali, indicated no injury marks on her body and said that the cause of her death was unclear.
The report, which came out on Tuesday, further said that the viscera had been sent for chemical examination.
The special investigation team (SIT) also found 1.5 kg of gold ornaments in an almirah, police said. ...
