
New Delhi: The Defence Minister of India and China will meet in New Delhi on Tuesday seeking to revive bilateral military ties. Gen Liang Guanglie is the first Chinese Defence Minister to visit India since 2004. On the agenda are a wide range of issues including the border dispute.
A day before the first meeting in eight years with a Defence Minister from China, Indian Defence Minister AK Antony told Parliament in a written reply on Monday, "Government is aware of infrastructure development by China at the border and their undertaking infrastructure projects in PoK. Government has conveyed its concerns to China and asked that it ceases such activities."
