Srinagar: The baby, who was born with a cleft lip and abandoned by her biological parents at Srinagar's sole child hospital, will now take baby steps towards a new beginning.
Baby Fazana, who was unclaimed for nearly 10 days at the GB Pant hospital, has found a new home, parents and importantly a name.
Riyaz Rather and his wife, who were childless for seven years, are now happy with Baby Farzana's entry in their family. The couple, who live in Ganderbal, want to give her a decent life with good education.
"We are very happy to have her. Me and my wife, my parents are all happy. This is Eid before Eid," Rather said....
