New Delhi: Coke Studio, the popular musical concept that brings under one banner styles and genres from different parts of the country, is all set to rock India after conquering Pakistani music lovers over three colourful seasons.
The sets are ready. The studio is complete. For the Indian music fans, it's an agonising wait until June 17, 7 pm when Coke Studio debuts in India. The much acclaimed musical show that started in Pakistan brings together the maestros of the music industry as well as the rising stars. It also brings together talent from different parts of the country on one stage.
Coke Studio first started in Pakistan in 2008 and has completed three seasons there. While the fourth season is on in Pakistan, the show is a rage among youths. With singers from Pakistani folk and sufi background, Pakistan's Coke Studio has been enthralling the music fans with some of the greatest jam sessions in the history of music.
