
New Delhi: The Ministry of External Affairs on Friday said that the visiting Italian minister was satisfied with the probe in the fishermen killings case. He also said that the Italian Foreign Minister also will visit the country on Tuesday for further discussion and the improvement of the bilateral ties between the two countries.
"Italian minister expressed satisfaction on the progress in Kerala. The Italian Foreign Minister will arrive on Tuesday for further discussion," said MEA spokesperson Syed Akbaruddin.
Italian Deputy Foreign Minister also thanked the Indian and Kerala government.
"I wanted to thank the Indian authority for their hospitality and briefed them about the meeting with the CM. I also thanked Indian lawyers who are working on the defence side. Allowing Italian forensic experts is a good sign," Italian Deputy Foreign Minister Staffan de Mistura said....
