New Delhi: Minor tremors measuring 4.9 on the Richter scale shook New Delhi-NCR on Monday afternoon. The tremors were also felt in several areas of Punjab, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan and Himachal Pradesh.
The epicentre of the quake was Bahadurgarh near Delhi-Haryana border. Office buildings in Gurgaon in Haryana were reportedly told to evacuate following the medium intensity quake.
The tremors were reportedly felt for 15-20 seconds.
Five people were reportedly injured in Uklana in Haryana, while some buildings suffered damage in Hisar....
