
Madurai: The Madras High Court on Thursday disposed of a petition seeking to restrain police from arresting Union minister MK Alagiri and two of his family members over a land grabbing complaint against their firm after police said there was no FIR against any of them.
Disposing of the petition filed by an official of Dhaya Cyber Park, in which Alagiri and his family members are directors, the court directed him to approach the state DGP with a representation.
Justice R Sudhakar said the petition had no basis as the government pleader stated that no FIR had been registered against the company directors, including Alagiri.
Dhaya Cyber Park Manager R Manikandan had sought a direction restraining the police from arresting Alagiri, his wife Kanthi Alagiri and son Dhayanidhi Alagiri....
