Lucknow: Elderly couple found murdered at home Lucknow: An elderly couple was stabbed to death by unidentified persons in Gomti Nagar area, police said. The bodies of RN Mehra, 61, a retired bank cashier, and his 58-year-old wife Lata, labour enforcement officer posted in Barabanki, were found inside their Vipul Khand residence on Sunday night, they said.



Police said the bodies have multiple stab wounds. The incident came to fore when the couple's daughter Gunjan, who lives in Delhi, failed to contact Mehra and alerted her relative Rakesh Khatri.
