New Delhi: The National Capital Region has become a sought after backdrop for Hindi films these days. Director Mrighdeep Singh Lamba's 'Fukrey' is all set to carry the trend forward. As the title suggests, the film is about four good-for-nothing guys who fall in love in narrow by lanes of Delhi. Priya Anand, the sweet but determined Radha of 'English Vinglish', is playing the love interest of Pulkit Samrat in the film. She describes her character as a 'proper Dilliwali', "I play a 17yr old girl named Priya from Subash Nagar, Delhi. Watching me and Pulkit will take you back in time to your first crush."
She gets candid about her camaraderie with Pulkit, "Pulkit is someone who I enjoyed working with. He was so patient and so encouraging throughout the making of the film. I am also very close to Vishaka Singh."
The director Mrighdeep Singh Lamba had earlier directed 'Teen That Bhai'. "He is one of my favourite directors. After my second round of auditions for the film I realised that he was someone who was very clear and had a vision. I hope to work with him again."
