Edinburgh: Pakistan established a target of 232 in their one-day international against Scotland in Edinburgh on Friday after spinner Majid Haq claimed three wickets for the home side.

Nasir Jamshed went for 20 before Haq claimed his first wicket of the day when Josh Davey caught Mohammad Hafeez (18) at backward point. Imran Farhat moved to the brink of a half-century, only to be bowled by spinner Matt Machan when he miscued an attempted slog on 49.

Haq claimed the wickets of Asad Shafiq for seven and Umar Amin for three, before Kamran Akmal fell lbw to Neil Carter for 12. Haq had gone into the match level with John Blain as the nation's top one-day wicket-taker with 41 scalps, but impressive figures of three for 39 saw him claim the honour outright....more
