New Delhi: A four-member Supreme Court appointed committee has recommended the cancellation of a mining lease to their Obulapuram mine in Anantapur district of Andhra Pradesh, bordering Bellary.
The committee was asked to submit a report on the alleged illegal mining activities in the Bellary Reserve Forest area.
The Obulapuram Mining Company belongs to Karnataka Ministers G Janardhan Reddy, G Karunakar Reddy and B Sriramulu.
