
New Delhi: Just over a week after Google's announcement of the Galaxy S4 Google Edition, rumours have started surfacing claiming that HTC is also planning to come up with a stock Android variant of its flagship phone, HTC One, for release in the US.
According to Geek.com, the company plans to cater those who prefer their Android to have a little more Google in the software department, and thus the work on a HTC One running Android 4.2.2 (without its Sense software customisations) is afoot.
However, it is not yet clear if a stock Android HTC One would be sold in Google's Play Store, or how exactly it would be made available to consumers. If rumours are to be believed, the HTC One with stock Android is going to be make available in the US first, just like the Galaxy S4 Google Edition.
"Sources claim this vanilla HTC One will be announced within the next two weeks, with potential release slated for sometime this summer," reports Geek.com....
