New Delhi: 6:41 pm: Sahara franchise pulls out from IPL. Sahara owns the Pune Warriors franchise in the Indian Premier League. Pune Warriors is the costliest franchise in IPL. A Sahara statement said: Sahara bought Pune franchise for a record Rs 1702 crore for 10 years. But they currently have dispute regarding the reduction of the franchise fee as initially there were 94 matches which was later reduced to 74 matches. The issue hasn't been resolved yet.

6:07 pm: Mumbai Police briefs about the arrests made by it so far. Joint Commissioner of Police, Mumbai, Himanshu Roy says Rs 1.28 crore has been recovered from arrested hawala operator Alpesh Patel. He says the Crime Branch made three fresh arrests on Tuesday - Patel, actor Virendra Dara Singh Randhawa (Vindoo Dara Singh) and Prem Taneja. Over all, nine arrests have been made in the case so far, Roy says. Mumbai Police will be interrogating them in the coming days, he says.
