Mumbai: A team of the Mumbai crime branch raided the Sofitel Hotel in Mumbai's Badra-Kurla Complex on Friday night in relation to the spot-fixing case, from where they have seized a laptop that possibly belongs to the arrested Rajasthan Royals' player Sreesanth.
Though it's still not certain if the laptop is owned by Sreesanth, sources have told CNN-IBN that it is possible that Sreesanth may have contacted the bookies from here and even transacted for spot-fixing.
It has also been learned that some cash may also have been recovered during the raid; however, the amount is uncertain. Mumbai crime branch is expected to give more details related to this raid by Saturday evening. It's also unclear if the raids last night happened at a single location or multiple locations.
