Indore: Woman industrialist goes missing Indore: A woman director in a leading iron and steel company in Indore has gone missing, police said on Monday. Akanksha Rathi was a director in Rathi Iron and Steel. Her husband, Anirudh Rathi, had in fact, died under mysterious circumstances in Delhi in September this year.

Akanksha's death adds a murky twist to the case. Last week she had filed a complaint against her in-laws alleging dowry harassment. On Saturday, said the police, they received a phone call from an anonymous person who said that Akanksha may have been killed. On Monday, a leading national daily carried her obituary notice.

Akanksha is said to have had close relations with a former Madhya Pradesh chief minister and a top BJP leader. Sources say that the police are evasive because of the ongoing industrial meet in Indore even though a team has been sent to Delhi for investigations.
