Actor Prabhas starrer Telugu action film 'Rebel' will release on Sep 28 as scheduled and will not be deferred in view of Ganesha immersion or Telangana shutdown, confirmed the filmmakers.
The makers have have rubbished every rumour about the possible postponement in the release of the film.
"Telugu action film 'Rebel' starring Prabhas, Tamannaah Bhatia and Deeksha Seth, and directed by Ragava Lawrencce, will release worldwide Sep 28," read a pressnote issued on Sept 21.
According to industry grapevine, it was speculated that the film release may be deferred due to Ganesha visarjan (immersion) Sep 29 and Telangana bandh on Sept 30....
