New Delhi: There is a new twist in the IPL molestation row, the Delhi police claim cricketer Luke Pomersbach has reportedly confessed in his statement to the cops. However, the statement is legally not admissible in a court of law.
Meanwhile, KP Apanna is the latest name which has cropped up in investigations. Police say the RCB player went to the victim's room along with Pomersbach and asked for Siddharth Mallya after the incident and this has now been corroborated by the CCTV footage. Appana's statement has been recorded by the police.
What further complicates matters is that the victims fianc Sahil Peerzada who was allegedly beaten up by Pomersbach said that Siddharth Mallya was a good friend of his and he had gone to the RCB party on Mallyas invitation.
Sources say certain team members from Royal Challengers Bangalore had gone to meet the victims fianc in hospital after the incident....
