Madhur Bhandarkar honoured in New York Mumbai: Filmmaker Madhur Bhandarkar was honoured with the prestigious 'New York Citizen's Achievement Award'.

The 44-year-old National-award winning director, who is presently on a vacation in New York, said that he is highly honoured to receive the honour.

"I am hugely honoured and humbled by the Citizen's Achievement Award given to me by people of NYC. I m truly touched!," he posted on Twitter.

Bhandarkar's last project was Kareena Kapoor-starrer 'Heroine', which released in September, 2012....more
