
Nadia: Some supporters of CPI(M)'s student wing SFI on Saturday allegedly beat up the principal of a college in Nadia district, police said.
A group of five students who are SFI supporters entered Majdia Sudhir Ranjan Lahiri College campus in Krishnaganj and allegedly bet up the principal Sarojendra Nath Kar after an altercation.
They were demanding that outsiders should not be allowed to enter the campus.

Kishanganj: Two oil tankers of a goods train caught fire, while two others derailed between Aluabari and Mangurjaan railway stations in Bihar's Kishanganj district on Wednesday.
