WB polls: TMC supporters gear up for win Kolkata: Less than 24 hours to go for the day Bengal has waited for with bated breath and all roads lead to Kalighat. Workers are working overtime to spruce up the place - well-wishers are trooping in with flowers and sweets, party leaders are making a beeline to her office for last minute planning, even the chairs are painted in Trinamool colours of green. Khokon, 27, has been working here every election but this time he says he doesnt mind the sweat.

Khokon said, "We are working very hard but it doesnt matter. We are all waiting for the May 13."

Amidst an army of journalists camping outside Mamatas house is this family from Sunderban, 28-year-old Sadhon has come with his wife and child to see Mamata Banerjee in person for the first time.

Sadhon said, "I have come from Sunderban. I am so happy to catch a glimpse of her. I havent seen so many media people in my life."...more
